I’m interested in using your services, where do I start?

The first thing to do is contact me by completing the enquiry form and indicating the service you require.  Please include as much information as possible so that I can provide you with a comprehensive estimate.

I’m happy with your estimate, what do I do now?

Your written acceptance of the estimate, which can be sent via email or post, is required prior to me commencing work on your project.

Will you work on my premises?

I only accept work from clients that can be undertaken remotely from my own premises.

Can I visit your premises?

I do not permit visits to my premises on the grounds of safety and insurance.

So how do we communicate?

My preferred method of communication is via email.  Of course, we can also communicate via telephone.

How do I send and receive my work?

You can send the work to be undertaken via email, file transfer or post and the completed document will be returned to you in the appropriate format via your preferred delivery method.

How long will it take to complete my project?

Completion and turnaround times depend on factors such as quality of the original source, size and nature of your project and work already in progress but I endeavour to meet all reasonable requests.  For more information on completion times and factors that might affect the process, please refer to my Guides.

How do you charge?

I charge a per audio minute rate, rounded to the nearest minute, for digital transcription and an hourly rate, rounded to the nearest quarter hour, for word processing services.  For more information on my Rates, click here

What about the confidentiality aspect?

Any information you provide in relation to your project will be treated as confidential and will not be

used other than for its intended purpose.  Upon completion and payment of the work, I will return

any original materials supplied by you and erase any related computer files, unless otherwise

instructed.  Should you deem it necessary, I will consider signing a separate confidentiality clause.
